It’s back to school season, and teachers have so much on their plates! Everyone can feel a little overwhelmed, and that is a perfectly normal part of a new school year. Everyone has to shake off the summer fuzzies and get back into school mode. Positive affirmations are a great way to increase confidence and create moments of reflection in our daily lives. The Children’s Museum at Saratoga is all about creating mindful moments for kids and parents alike. To give a little boost at the start of the school year, our Education Director, Briana Sullivan, has created a fun back-to-school activity that anyone can enjoy. Being able to use positive self-talk is a great skill for anyone to pick up, and kids are the perfect sponges to absorb this healthy habit. Find our Affirmation Garden activity below and plant the seeds for emotional well-being. This activity is great as a take-home project or could create a wonderful garden of positive affirmations in your classroom.
