Each month the Children’s Museum features great activities and events along with our regularly scheduled public programs (see below).

Q: Why is Sunday normally not on the calendar? 

A: Because the Museum is closed on Sundays.

Note: During the School year, the Museum is also closed on Monday.

Public Programs Calendar

Four public education programs are offered every day at 9:30 am, 11:00 am, 1:30 pm, and 3:00 pm and are free with admission.  The Museum offers a wide variety of programs from Art to History to STEM.

Each Thursday at 9:30am  and 1:30pm we'll read a different book allowing your child to create real world connections as they familiarize themselves with the alphabet, new vocabulary words, and rhymes.

Best suited for children ages 2 to 5.

Engage your little builder with a weekly STEAM challenge on Saturdays at 9:30am and 1:30pm! This is a hands-on exploration into the world of engineering designed to get children thinking. From building towers to working with gears and levers, children will see how their world works and make connections all their own.

STEAM Saturday is best suited for children ages 4 and up

Art Adventures is a creative space where children and their families can make art together. Each Wednesday at 9:30am and 1:30pm, the Museum offers a multi-sensory craft that encourages self-expression and experimentation with different art mediums.
