Access Programs:
Visits to the Museum should be accessible for everyone. Here are the ways we make it possible through reduced cost and free programs.
Museums for All:
Museums for All is a program for community members to enter at a discounted admission of $3.00 per person for up to four (4) individuals per EBT card. Families just present their EBT card and a valid form of photo ID upon admission to the Museum.
Open Arms Membership:
An affordable membership program for families who use EBT card benefits. A discounted rate for a year-long family membership. Families fill out the membership application, then present their EBT card and a valid form of photo ID at the Museum’s guest services desk.
The Open Arms membership program is generously underwritten by River Farm America. If you would like to contribute to help make access possible for your fellow community members, you may do so here. Thank you.
Library Passes:
Many of the public libraries in the area offer Museum passes. The passes are meant to reduce the economic barrier for admission for their library patrons while providing the opportunity to explore CMAS. Each library pass allows free admission for one child and one adult. Additional admissions can be purchased at the front desk.
Please be courteous. Only one pass per family is permitted (passes from other libraries presented together does not grant additional admission). Remember that participating libraries only have one pass for every patron in their library to share.
If you used a library pass and enjoyed your visit, consider getting a family membership, or making a donation to the Museum so that the library pass program can continue.
If your family needs a reduced cost membership, please see the information about “Open Arms” memberships above.
Reciprocal Reduced Cost Admission Programs:
CMAS is an active member of the Association of Children’s Museums (ACM) and participates in their admission program which grants reduced cost admission to ACM level members of other organizations. Admission discounts vary and some geographic exclusions apply. For more information visit the ACM Reciprocal Network website.
