Mural Opening
Join us at The Children’s Museum for the exciting opening of our vibrant new mural, featuring a fun array of aquatic animals! To celebrate, we’ll host a hands-on workshop where you can create flying fish lanterns using paper bags, guided by the talented Frank Lombardo. Enjoy complimentary water, fish crackers, and seaweed snacks while learning about the artistic journey behind the mural. We’ll also share the life story of Ed Koch, the artist who hand-carved and painted the 300 wooden fish hanging in our hall. Don’t miss the slideshow showcasing the making of the mural!
