The Children’s Museum welcomes visitors from all different backgrounds and abilities. We strive to make the Museum accessible to as many people as possible

Social Narratives

What to expect when you come to the Museum.

These social narratives walk you through entering the Museum, our classrooms, exhibits, places to rest, and leaving the Museum. Social narratives help clarify behavioral and social expectations and provide strategies to use in a given situation.

ADA Accessibility

The Museum currently exceeds ADA standards of accessibility. The Museum entrance has a ramp leading up to it and there is elevator access to the second floor. Most of our exhibits can be accessed with mobility devices such as, but not limited to, walkers and wheelchairs.
