The goal and mission of The Children’s museum at Saratoga Summer Camp is to create an environment where camp meets learning and play. We have created a half-day summer camp designed to build children’s critical thinking skills, curiosity and Love of learning, through play. Each week has been designed to challenge each camper to think outside the box and to challenge what they know and how they learn. Join us for this exciting new venture here at the Children’s Museum at Saratoga.

Age for Camp: All children must be entering 1st grade through 5th grade in the fall of 2017.

Length of Program: Each day is divided into one 3 hour session

(a morning session: 9am until Noon or afternoon session: 1pm until 4pm).

Cost: $100—member price per session / $115—non-member price per session

Maximum Capacity: 16 campers per group per session.

July 17-July 21st –  MINI MASTERPIECE – Children entering 3rd through 5th grade9AM – NOON: Campers will spend the week exploring new art mediums each day from painting to drawing and everything in between.

July 24-July 28th – MOTION MADNESS – Children entering 1st and 2nd grade9AM – NOON: This camp will teach campers about the science of Newton’s Laws of Motion through a series of hands-on experiments that test speed, friction, and other forces. 

July 31st-August 4th – CULINARY CONCOCTIONS – Children entering 1st and 2nd grade9AM – NOON: Children who cook become children who taste and eat. Allow your campers to experiment with their natural curiosity, learn math and science skills and have fun while spending the week cooking in this exciting hands-on cooking camp.

July 31st-August 4th – CULINARY CONCOCTIONS – Children entering 3rd through 5th grade 1PM – 4PM: Children who cook become children who taste and eat. Allow your campers to experiment with their natural curiosity, learn math and science skills and have fun while spending the week cooking in this exciting hands-on cooking camp.
